I’m thinking of having Sky put in at home, but I don’t have a landline, just a mobile. And I don’t want a landline at the moment. Do I really have to have one for Sky?
Yes, because they sign you to a contract which means the box needs to be able to be "purged" of its information or updated by Sky. It has to be a landline as other phones ( mobiles for example) can’t have the line "seized" by the sky box for these actions to be carried out.
