What digital camera is best for your money?

Okay so I need a new digital camera. I want one with at least 10-12 megapixels, 2.5-3 inch lcd screen and very thin. What camera is best for not a ton of money but is still a really good, reliable camera? Thanks!

Don’t buy into the hype of megapixels. YOu need to understand, there is a LOT more to picture quality than megapixels – for example shutter speed, aperture options etc.
Megapixels are something that a lot of manufacturers bump up to up the cost of their cameras – but believe me, if you’re a ‘point and shoot’ type, 6, 7, 8 MP is plenty – and it will save money so that you can buy a higher end camera with that number of megapixels, rather than a piece of junk with the 10-12 you were originally looking for.

Read the geek pages (gizmodo, engadget), search for megapixels and you’ll find a million articles talking about how NOT important MPs are above a certain point, unless you really want to be a professional photographer – in which case point and shoot is not what you want, nor is thin – you’ll want the biggest, most badass SLR you can find (lenses for those are commonly 1000+ for just the lens).

I’m 14, I have lots of cash, and want to subscribe to setanta on freeview. My mum and dad do not want to have a direct debit, is it possible to pay with cash or is there another way?

Looking to buy a PC to connect up to a 32" lcd tv for tv recording from digibox and for gaming?

I am looking for a small compact PC that will fit on a cabinet underneath the tv and is able to record tv onto its hardrive (so it will require a input for a virgin media box scart) also must have a DVD and be able to handle quite newish games any ideas?

Get this but remove the screen if you can and upgrade to the best graphics card they have. Also look through the menus for a TV tuner. Apart from that it should be perfect. Just rest it on its side, the DVD drive is next to the power button on the front.

I’m a complete amature.
1) What digital tv’s do you recommend under £200?
2) How do i check if the signal will work where i live?
3) What features should i look for in a digital tv?
4) What shops in the UK can i get one from?
5) Please any extra information i need to know on digital tvs?

The best advice I can give you is to take a trusted friend who has knowledge & experience with you to an electronics store that he or she trusts.

Can our Sky satellite dish receive Freesat digital signals?

We have a Sky satellite dish left over from when my son moved out, and I would like to know if it can be used on an HD Freesat box.

Depends how old the dish is. If it was for old Sky analogue then it won’t do the business. If it is a Sky Digital minidish then yes it will work.

How can I download photos which are being showed by the websites on flash player (like on skysports.com) HELP!

Slow Sky Box?

hi, i have a pace sky box i think model: bskyb 2200 it seems to work fine all but its very slow when changing channels or when ever you ask it to do something.
Any ideas??

some one told me to make it force download, i did that but no diffrent.

Try the following:

1. While on the Sky Digital channel, press [services] on the remote
2. Then select system setup and press [enter]
3. Now on the remote press [0] [1] and then [enter]
4. Select ‘New Installation’. This resets your sky box
