Is it possible in any way to get the BSkyB Sky Digital signal in the USA/Costa Rica? What equipment do I need?

Being from the UK I would like to see the UK sports channels, including those from BSkyB and especially when I have to be in Costa Rica for one year. Is it in any way possible, or is

No sorry the satellite footprint just doesnt cover that area, to receive english speaking channels your best bet is Panamsat which recieves americam feeds, unless there is something better out there , Have fun !

    The satellite footprint is below the horison. Try looking into a FTA free to air receiver.
    They are all over the internet. One of the best and cheapest ones I haave seen is a Pansat p-2500a. There is also a program you can buy and download to watch TV on your PC called satellite pc. on the web. The program is around $79.00 but I have seen it on ebay for around $9.00 .
